Start with a visit to a bustling traditional morning market (morning class) where you’ll learn to select the freshest spices, vegetables, and local ingredients. Then head to a family compound kitchen where you’ll master the art of Balinese cooking — from grinding spices with a traditional mortar and pestle to preparing iconic dishes like Nasi Goreng, Sate Lilit, Gado-Gado, Ayam Betutu, and Lawar.
Vegetarian options are fully available — just let us know in advance! At the end, sit down together and enjoy the delicious meal you’ve prepared. Take home a recipe booklet so you can recreate the magic in your own kitchen.
